Library Information
Audio Architecture is a broad-based production library that covers a wide range of musical styles. Every Audio Architecture suite is defined by musical style and by musical key groups. Click here for a complete library list.
Each suite contains Music Beds, Stager Beds and Production Elements that are all written and produced to work together. In addition to all that, Audio Architecture also includes a group of tracks called "Layer Mixes." (The "What's A layer Mix?" section describes these in detail.) Here are a few of the features and benefits of Audio Architecture:
- Total of 98 tracks on every suite (including 7 Music Beds with :60 version, :30 version, alternate mixes and layer mixes; 7 Stager Beds with alternate mixes and layer mixes; plus... 14 Production Elements.)
- All of the tracks on the audio CD are duplicated on the CD-ROM in Microsoft Windows .wav format.
- Each suite is a self-contained package of elements designed to be both compatible and inspirational.
- You can easily use Audio Architecture for quick "ready-made" productions.
- If you're the "do-it-yourself" type, you can dig into Audio Architecture's "layer mixes" and create truly unique custom productions.
- All musical keys and tempos are documented in the track listings.
- Suites that are in the same category have the same color divider pages so it's easy to find them in your Audio Architecture binder.
- All of the audio on the CD-ROM can be easily auditioned and quickly downloaded to use in your favorite audio software.
What's A "Layer Mix"
A Layer Mix is an isolated instruments or elements used in a full mix. Every Music Bed and Stager Bed in Audio Architecture is broken down into a set of 3 stereo Layer Mixes. Think of these as building blocks to construct a custom mix of any bed!
Realigning the Layer Mixes is easy because each track has a count-off on the front. Just line up the count-off for each layer, and your multitrack mix is synchronized. Layer Mixes are also great for creating your own production elements! If you're using audio editing software for your production, the possibilities become almost limitless!
The CD-ROM
The CD-ROM contains all of the audio CD tracks stored in Microsoft Windows .wav format. They are 16 bit, 44.1k, stereo PCM (uncompressed) files. These files will work with any audio software that will open or play a Windows .wav files will work with these files. The AACopy program or the AADisc HTM documents will help you audition and copy the files to your hard drive. On the 18th CDROM of every Suite is a complete listing of every track within that binder series. For example, CD-ROM AA018 contains every track from AA001 to AA018, CD-ROM AA036 contains every track from AA019 to AA036, etc.
