The other day I had to do a spot for a water park using a Polynesian voice. They specifically requested the bed to be “Polynesian/upbeat/heavy on drums”. I found the perfect bed in Audio Architecture in about 30 seconds. Using the right music to compliment the script/talent is half the battle to creating great spots and this library makes it easy. This year we won “Best Radio Spot” at the Philadelphia Air Awards. As long as we keep winning, we’re keeping Audio Architecture. Steve Curry

the labels of tempo and keys for each selection. Sometimes I mix a
Hip Hop element with a classical in a bed to get the sound I want.
I can take apart elements to build something special.

For Hits 103.1, it's not what we've gained from Audio Architecture, but what we've lost! Like the nervous feeling when the sales staff rushes in looking for something "really-different" for their commercial. We take a great deal of pride in our commercial production; our creative is really what sets us apart from our competition. Also I have to say that the ability to quickly search the tracks via the computer allows us to find just the right sound based on an idea or a vague concept from a sales rep. ("Give me something like an 'On-the-Front-Porch' sound!") We had been shopping an updated library for a long time and for our GM (who's a very tough sell), everything was either too expensive, didn't have a buy-out option, or it was cheap and sounded cheap. TM Studios gave us everything we were looking for, and my GM was extremely happy. Thank you, TM Studios, and thank you, Chris Stevens. When I received the TM Studios' Audio Architecture series, I was blown away by the sheer volume of music! The packaging and binders make it easy for referencing. I really like how AA breaks down the music beds into stagers and production elements - which helps in imaging, as well as commercial production! We love our new Audio Architecture Library. Our cluster had not updated the production library in a few years, and it is certainly refreshing to hear some new beds and sounds with our spots. We have developed a reputation within the company for exceptional production, and I can only imagine the level that this will take us to. The Audio Architecture Library is stellar, and I'm sure we haven't even scratched the surface of its potential. Audio Architecture is easily the best Production library I've used in my 15 years of meeting the unreasonable demands of rabid Salespeople. No more trading discs for new ones every few months.
